Running Accomplishments:

I ran the Top of Utah Marathon in 4:43 after having my third child the year before. 5 K in 24:19, 10 K in 53 minutes pregnant. Survived personal training from my lovable but slightly overbearing husband Sasha for more than 8 years!!

Short-Term Running Goals:

Break 23:45 in the 5k.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay thin and full of energy.

Not be an embarassment to my family full of world class athletes.

Personal:

Madly in love with Sasha. We have been married since 1996 and have been blessed with seven of the most adorable and talented children : Benjamin, Jennifer, Julia, and Joseph, Jacob, William and Stephen.

All of our children have run in at least one race, including Jacob and William who did it inside the womb. I enjoy various non-running activities such as: baking, sewing, playing organ, piano and flute, painting, and playing with our  vivacious children.

pretty solid today. Felt kinda tired starting out but then I warmed up and kept going at a pretty good pace for all 4. So everybody in my ward freaking out about the trail has gotten to me...I studied up on people using something called wasp spray. Turns out the wasp spray is just that....stuff they sell at home depot so you can kill wasps or other flying pests. I don't know how I feel about using it on another human being..even if they are attacking me. People that teach self-defense have started to advocate it because it sprays further and more accurately.  Then I also read that maybe there are pepper sprays that also spray at a long distance. Gonna check into that.

I'm not sure I want to know what happened on the trail (not from UT). I usually try to run with someone. Let me know what you decide.

Great job keeping up with the running and taking care of your family!

The trail has weirdos on it all the time. This one time an escaped felon beat a girl up near the trail and everyone I know is freaking out. I was kidnapped as a child so I lived in fear of him returning for most of my childhood. As an adult I've tried to not live in fear but when your partners won't even go on the trail with you anymore it can get discouraging. Thanks for stopping by!!
